• Banks, Hedge Fund Companies, etc.
Challenges
There are a multitude of challenges involving PPE:
Solution
We refer buyers to Professional, Ethical, Authorized Suppliers of PPE
Manufacturers and Authorized Dealers have provided our team with authenticated certifications, including:
• FDA certificates
• Proof of testing and inspection reports by an independent company (SGS or other professional third party)
• Certificates of Liability Insurance
• Certificates from US Customs
• Certificates of Authorized Dealers
• Certificates from Public Health Departments
• Reseller Permits
• Business Licenses
• Certificates of Liability Insurance
The inventory of manufacturers changes rapidly each day...for example, orders are cancelled at the last minute because the buyer's funding did not occur.
The locations of shipments are in motion -- they may be On The Ground (OTG) in the US, at an airport, at Customs and Border Protection facilities, an ocean port, at the factory, etc.
Pricing changes rapidly, depending on the supply, demand, quantity, costs, and instability in this highly volatile marketplace.
Our partners manufacture PPE, including:
• Gloves (including powder-free nitrile gloves by Cranberry, Cardinal Health, and other manufacturers)
• 3-ply and 4-ply Surgical Masks (for one-time use or washable)
• KN95 Masks
• N95 Masks (including by 3M brand - Model 1860 and others)
• Gowns: Civilian and approved for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/ Emergency Room (ER)
• Sanitizers
• Face shields
• Goggles
We also have access to approved and certified:
• COVID Test Kits
• Vaccines

Challenges
There are a multitude of challenges involving PPE:
- Demand is high and urgent, occurring simultaneously, internationally
- Supplies are limited because there are a few manufacturers that create high quality PPE that are approved by the FDA
- Funding is limited at hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, etc.
- There are unethical companies selling PPE of poor quality
- Unethical companies over-charge and do not comply with state and local statutes (for example, California Penal Code Section 396 places a maximum ceiling on pricing)
- Pricing is highly volatile
- Operational inconsistencies occur throughout the supply chain
- Minimum order quantities (MOQs) vary amongst Authorized Dealers, Manufacturers, and Suppliers
- Inventories change quickly
- Transportation logistics through air, sea, and land are complex
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) change rapidly regarding production, payment, distribution, and transportation
- Domestic and international banking issues slow down the process
- New buyers of PPE may be unaware of how to authenticate and test PPE
- Costs on raw materials and transportation are rising
